Filter Receiver

Filter-Receiver is a high vacuum device used in processing as a collection device that is made use of in the process of pneumatic material transfer. These devices can be manufactured in either stainless steel or painted carbon steel.

A device called Coperion K-Tron Filter Receiver supplies automatic material from air separation. There’s a contraption called the tangential inlet, which is located in the reciever’s circular hopper. It facilitates the cyclonic separation of the material/air stream. There are filter bags installed which trap the airborne particles and the compressed timed air pulses help in cleaning the filter bags dropping the once airborne material into the hopper. A deflector shield protects the filter bags from the material mainstream. The efficient performance of the filter receiver is achieved through the proper selection of filter media and the accurate air-to-cloth ratio.

Filter receivers are available with single or double access doors. Larger filter receivers have two access doors located 180° apart to provide easy access to all filter bags.
Pulse-Jet Filters provide automatic material-from-air separation. Airborne particles are separated by the filter media. The filters are cleaned by sequenced, compressed air pulses dropping the once airborne material into the hopper or silo
The filter is able to deliver a stellar performance with the help of proper selection of filter media and the right sizing. The right combination of air to cloth ratio as well as gas velocity assures the optimal life cycle of the filter.
